Nathan Roberts first started playing Volleyball
at 11 years of age for Austral Volleyball Club before attended 
Brighton Secondary
School
 from 1999-2003 where he was a
member of the school's Special Interest Volleyball program. Nathan also played
the u/18 Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2002 in Xylokastro, Greece.


Nathan began his scholarship at the Australian
Institute of Sport scholarship in 2002, playing in both the Youth and Junior
National Teams before eventually making his Senior team debut in 2005.
 Since then has played over 300 matches for the Australian National Team
including the 2006 & 2010 World Championships. Nathan was a gold medalist
at the 2007 Asian Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia and was the Best Spiker
at the 2011 Asian Championships in Tehran, Iran. The Highlight of his
Volleyball Career was competing at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.


As well as the national team Nathan has played
9 years overseas in the professional leagues of Denmark, Germany,
Portugal, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and the prestigious A1
& A2 Italian Leagues. s first started playing Volleyball at 11 years of
