Battle of the undefeated between USA and Russia

Bari, Italy, September 15, 2018 - USA (2-0) and Russia (2-0) go head-to-head on Saturday, when one of the two will suffer their first defeat at the 2018 FIVB World Championship. It's the 10th time the two sides meet in a World Championship, with the Americans having won just once in the previous nine encounters - a 3-1 win in the final of the 1986 World Championship in Paris against the USSR.
