5 – Vlado PETKOVIĆ

Vlado Petković is in charge of organizing the play in the national team, and that was the key factor that triggered his international career. Petković was the first option for the setter position in VC “Crvena Zvezda” from Belgrade and VC “Budućnost” from Podgorica (Montenegro), and playing in those clubs he won several Championship titles. After having played in Korea and Slovenia, he moved to VC “Umbria Volley” in Italy, but the last couple of seasons he spent in Iran, playing for Shahrdari Urmia. Petković played for all categories of the Serbian national team, from youth to senior, and this will be his tenth season in the World League (102 matches played). He won two silver medals (2008, 2009) and one bronze (2010) in the World League, bronze at the 2010 World Championship, and gold (2011) and bronze (2007) at the European Championships.
