Nehemiah’s first encounter with volleyball was
with his South-Sydney District Church Games, and represented his church’s
A-side for the first time at age 15, 2008. He joined the Baulkham Hills
Volleyball club in 2012 and competed in the ‘Good Neighbour’ tournament in
Spring that same year. He was offered an AIS scholarship in July 2013 after a
three-month trial period, and represented NSW at the Australian Junior
Volleyball Championships in the same month.


Since obtaining a scholarship, Nehemiah had been
a part of the extended national team training squad, and participated in the
National Team’s Brazil tour in August 2013. A month after, he was selected to
represent Australia for the first time in the Under 23’s Junior World
Championships in Brazil.


In that year he made his debut playing for the
AIS in the Australian Volleyball League (AVL), and has most recently
participated in the Japan/Europe development tour with AIS in February 2014.
