 In 2008 Ferdinand
Tille was part of the national team for the first time and was established as
libero by 2009. As if knowing no fear Tille was facing difficult opponents and
satisfied in reception and defence and was favoured instead of experienced
Markus Steuerwald. Things are also going well in his club: Tille won the German
Cup with Generali Haching in 2010 and 2011. In the World League he seemed
fearless and proved himself worthy in defence and reception, the same he did at
the World Championships. At the end he received the award “best libero”. Together
with Markus Steuerwald Tille belongs to one of the best Libero-duos in the
world.
