 Markus Steuerwald is
just 25-years-old, but has already won every title possible on club level.
Especially 2007 will not be forgotten by the player: VfB Friedrichshafen won
the German Championship, the German Cup as well as the Champions League with
Steuerwald as libero. Additionally, Steuerwald was awarded ‘best libero’ in the
Champions League. The younger brother from setter Patrick Steuerwald was also
able to gain experiences within the national team. At the qualification for the
Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012 he was one of the guarantors for the German
participation. Since 2011 Steuerwald, who is playing for Paris/FRA, is in the
squad again.
