Dmitry Ilinykh started his professional career in the
second team of the famous Belgorod club system – “Metaloinvest” (Stary Oskol),
but after two seasons of a solid performance was moved to the main team –
“Lokomotiv” (Belgorod), where he has been playing until now. As for Dmitry’s
international duties it should be mentioned that he won the 2009 Universiade in
Belgrad, the 2006 CEV Junior European Championship and the 2005 FIVB Youth
World Championship. Ilinukh is considered to be one of the most prospective
Russian volleyball players.


In 2011 he was included in the application for the World League. Participated in 13 matches, the tournament ended with victory for the Russian team, gaining 50 points in them. In
2011, as a part of the national team,  Ilinykh 
won the World League.
