Outside hitter Paul Lotman was born in 1985, in Lakewood, Calif., where he also grew up. He joined the U.S. Men’s National Team in 2009 to play in the Pan American Cup, which won the gold medal. He made his debut with the “A team” at the 2009 FIVB World League, where the U.S. placed sixth.
Lotman was a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Men's Volleyball Team and a member of the U.S. Men's Team that won the 2014 FIVB World League.
Lotman has played for Resovia SA Rzeszow in Poland for the past three winters as the team has won the Polish League title twice. He has also played in France and Italy. Lotman married wife Jasmine in August, 2011. He played college volleyball for Long Beach State University and was named NCAA Division I-II Co-Player of the Year in 2008 along with U.S. teammate Matt Anderson.
