Tillie Laurent

Laurent Tillie has been coaching the men's National Team of France since 2012, during which time he led the side to their incredible gold in the 2015 FIVB World League, followed up by the European Championship title later that year and a bronze at the 2016 FIVB World League, plus yet another gold at the 2017 World League and a silver at the inaugural FIVB Volleyball Nations League in 2018. As a player the Algiers-born 55-year-old accumulated 406 caps with the National Team of France, while playing for various clubs in France and Italy. He is also a two-time Olympian as player (Seoul 1988 and Barcelona 1992) and once as coach (Rio 2016). Last year he coached the women's team of RC Cannes during the club season. His father Guy was an international player for France, as is his son Kevin.
