 Jochen Schöps
(Rzeszow/POL) is one of the players for the crucial points. The 30-year-old is
sought-after by the setters and mainly takes the shots. The 2.00 m tall
national player has made a name for himself internationally. Still young, he
was already successful when he was awarded most valuable attacker at the
Junior’s European Championship 2002. His continuous world class performances
are also recognized by German fans, which awarded Schöps as ‘player of the
year’ three times in a row (2007-2009). Since 2013 the two time Olympian Schöps
is the captain of the German national team.
